Welcome back!

Each season has challenges that are balanced by the importance of its opposite. After a dormant winter, beauty and rebirth of blossoming life produce an abundance of allergens that fill the air. These natural components of life can cause a multitude of problems for those plagued by allergies; but Eidon Immune Support can help the body fortify itself. When I created this product I had no idea it would be so effective for allergies and asthma, now more and more customers are telling me how happy they are to stop their usual regime of allergy meds after starting on the Immune Support. This of course is logical, and an added benefit of a strong and balanced immune system.

Just this morning we received a call from a woman in Missouri who shared her enthusiasm and joy about facing the spring pollens head on, without her usual dependence on Claritin®. She learned about the advantages of Eidon Immune Support after calling us to purchase our detoxifying foot patches, and she decided to try both products.

It is so gratifying to hear from people who are taking the initiative to read about and explore alternative methods for health maintenance. This means we are waking up and taking charge of our lives. Significant shifts have occurred in consumer consciousness and according to Nutrition Business Journal, vol.8 number11, "Attitudes on the importance of taking supplements has shifted tremendously in the last few years." The journal also reported that consumers no longer have expectations that their doctors will know anything about alternative health supplements. This means we, as a population, are becoming more self- sufficient and confident in our ability to research and know what is good for us.

My company was founded because I sought out a cure when I was told none was available, and it has been a profound journey. My hope for us all in this season of renewal is to awaken to the possibilities that are blossoming everywhere. May they be realized when we are not even expecting them.

How do I. . .

Did you know?. . .

What's New on Our Site. . .

Dr. Dean Ornish, America's all purpose guru, regards forgiveness as the tofu of the soul. "In a way," Ornish says, "the most selfish thing you can do for yourself is to forgive other people."  Research suggests that forgiveness works in at least two ways. One is by reducing the stress of the state of unforgiveness, a potent mixture of bitterness, anger, hostility, hatred, resentment and fear (of being hurt or humiliated again). These have specific physiologic consequences-such as increased blood pressure, and hormonal changes that are linked to cardiovascular disease, immune suppression and possibly to impaired neurological function and memory.

According to Louise Hay, the intention of forgiveness, if sincere, is enough to remove the subconscious burden of holding on to negative emotions attached to a specific memory. It is not necessary to rehash the details...just forgive and release.

. . . Allergy Meds: Survey
Nearly a third (31 percent) of allergy patients aren't satisfied with their current prescription allergy medication, and 60 percent said they're very interested in finding a new drug, according to a survey released last week by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA). Read full article here. (From HealthDay News, posted on news.yahoo.com).

Instead of trying a new drug, we suggest you try a more natural approach with our Immune Support.

. . . Do you know what's in your shampoo?
If you don't, then go take a look. Check to see if your favorite shampoo, or bath gel, or toothpaste, contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS and SLES). This is an inexpensive detergent used in products such as shampoos, bath gels, cleansers, floor cleaners, carwash soaps, and engine degreasers. Do you really want to be putting an engine degreaser or carwash soap on your skin? SLS is a tissue irritant. It has been used widely in laboratory testing on humans and animals to irritate the skin, so that other agents could be tested to see how they affect the irritated tissue.

Other research has indicated SLS may be damaging to the immune system, especially within the skin, and stays in the body for up to five days. Skin layers may separate and inflame due to its protein denaturing properties. SLS easily penetrates through the skin and enters and maintains residual levels in the heart, liver, lungs and the brain.

The Irony of the New Universal Waste Disposal Laws
While we should be concerned about where we are disposing mercury we must be more concerned about how we are being exposed to this deadly toxin on a constant and far more invasive basis -- and it isn’t from fish or mercury containing household devices..

Until next month, I wish you abundant health and mindfulness of all the good life has to offer.

Rick Wagner, President

Tried and Liked:

SLS and its other compounds are known irritants, not known carcinogens. However, if you would rather not chance it and you're looking for an all natural shampoo, and body products, we suggest EO Products. A few of us at Eidon have tried their products and really like them!
